A selection of rare titles from Monash University Library’s Fairy Tales Collection, featuring vintage editions including Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella (1942), Hansel and Grethel (c. 1890), and The Golden Goose (c. 1930s). Spanning the 19th and 20th centuries, the broader digitised collection brings together classic folklore, early local printings, and renowned illustrated works—such as Arthur Rackham’s The Sleeping Beauty (1920) and a rare 1856 manuscript translation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid.
