Membership consisted of the Deputy Chancellor, Safety Officer, Student Counsellor, Architect, Student Welfare Officer, three handicapped students, a nominee of the Librarian, and three coopted members.
The committee's name was changed in 1995, though the terms of reference remained "to encourage people with disabilities to make known their needs for facilities and equipment and to make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor".
This committee was replaced wth the Inclusive Practices Advisory Committee, a sub-committee of the Equal Opportunity Committee of Council
