Biography
Andrew Spaull was born on 16 May 1943. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (1964), Diploma in Education (1966) and Master of Commerce (1968). He graduated with a PhD from Monash in 1973. He was a high school teacher prior to his appointment at Monash in 1969 as a senior teaching fellow in the Faculty of Education. He was appointed as a lecturer in 1972, and as reader in 1979. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University in 1977-78; Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at University of Toronto in 1983 and 1989-90. He resigned in 2003. Dr Spaull died on 27 January 2019.
