Gilbert Vasey worked with the New South Wales Main Roads Board from 1927 to 1933 and from 1933 to 1971 was Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Reader in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Melbourne. Mr Vasey was a member of the Caulfield Technical College Council from 1953 to 1963 and President of the Council between 1958 and 1960.
