She became an Assistant Lecturer in School of Historical Studies (2008), a Postdoctoral Fellow (2009-2011), Lecturer in Contemporary History in 2011 and was a Senior Lecturer by 2015.
As at 2025 she is the Head of History in the School of Philosophical, Historical, and Indigenous Studies.
She co-authored University Unlimited: the Monash Story with Graeme Davison.
