Biography

Peter Chandler was in 1941. He attended Melbourne High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Marketing from the University of Lancaster. He commenced as a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Studies at Caulfield Institute of Technology in 1971. In 1973, he was the principal lecturer in marketing. He was appointed Head of the Department of Marketing in 1975, and Dean of the David Syme Business School in 1988. Post merger appointments include Caulfield Campus Director 1992; Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics 1993, Pro Vice-Chancellor 1994-97. He was conferred as an Emeritus Professor on May 1 2008.
