It covered the Departments of Ambulance & Paramedic Studies, General Practice, and Social Work. The Departments of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy were added when they were established din 2007. In 2017 the school became the School of Primary and Allied Health Care, and the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Services was added. In 2022 the Department of General Practice moved to the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. In 2024 the School became part of the newly established Sub-Faculty of Health Sciences.
