Series identifierMON326Series titlePlans of university site and buildingsSeries descriptionThis series consists of plans and drawings created by the Buildings and Grounds Branch as well as outside architects which have been forwarded to the archives from various sources. The series is chiefly concerned with the development of the university site and the Union Building and in 1984 the Multi-Discipline Centre now known as the Gallery Building. A spiral bound booklet produced in 1964 includes indexed plans for all university buildings with comparative costs. Also included in the series are plans related to the administration building, the Education building, the rotunda and the sports centre.
Accession 1996/46 included plans for Science buildings as well as plans for car parks, medicine cabinets, gardens, loading bays, etc.
Plans and drawings are of various sizes and by both university and contracted architects and landscape designers.
