Grants were expected to be within the range $500 to $3,000 and all Chisholm staff were eligible to apply. Grants were administered by the CIOT Higher Degrees and Research Committee who called for applications in February of each year. Details of successful applications were published in the 'Chisholm Gazette'.
This series consists of original documentation on research projects for which grant applications were approved in 1988 and 1989. For each project documentation includes grant application; signed acceptance of conditions; interim report and final report. For some projects, continuation proposals are also included. Documentation on unsuccessful applications is also included in the series.
