The lists in the file marked "Committees to 1978 [terms of reference and membership]" have been completed in pen, while the remainder of the lists in the series have been typed onto A4 sized paper. The file marked "Monash University Council, Past Membership" consists of council members names, qualifications, term of office, postal addresses and telephone numbers, and they have been arranged alphabetically, according to surname. The most recent item in the series Council Members 1961-2006 was compiled by the FOI officer Mr Tony Allen, and includes notes related to compilation of the list.
