The Inter-Hospital Committee of Clinical Studies was established in 1967 under Statute 2.4, The University Teaching Hospitals. Membership consisted of the dean of the Faculty, deans of the clinical schools and students. The committee was responsible to the faculty board for the determination and submission of the program of clinical instruction at each teaching hospital, and carrying out duties in relation to the clinical schools as determined by the faculty board. The committee's role was taken over by a new Inter-Hospitals Committee established by the Faculty Board at meeting 5/72. The new committee was to deal with downtown matters on the same basis as other standing committees. Over the following years however, the committee's role was gradually eroded as other committees took over many of its functions. It held its final meeting in November 1976 at which the committee recommended its own abolition.Date range1967 - 1976Series typeUniversity SeriesLinear metreage0.3Extent (boxes)2Format, size, conditionvolumes 340x240mmKeywordsClaytonFaculties & Departments
