MON824: Annual Reports (Monash)

The Council of Monash University is required (under section 42 of the Monash University Act, 1958 and later section 53 of the Monash University Act, 2009) to report annually, the proceedings of the university with a full account of the audited income and expenditure and a record of reports and statutes approved by the Governor-in-Council for that year. This series includes official copies of Monash University's Annual Reports bearing the Chancellor's signature and stamp of the Governor-in-Council for 1958-86 and 1990-91. A second set of reports recorded here were forwarded as archival copies by Publications Branch. Booklets vary in size from 140x215mm (1961-73); 152x240mm (1974-77); 175x248mm (1978-86); and 210x300mm (1987-99). In 1991 the university's financial statement was issued separately as the Annual Accounts. Reports for 1992-95 include lists of graduands for the year.
