Series identifierMON824Series titleAnnual Reports (Monash)Series descriptionThe Council of Monash University is required, under section 42 of the Monash University Act, 1958, to report annually, the proceedings of the university with a full account of the audited income and expenditure and a record of reports and statutes approved by the Governor-in-Council for that year. This series includes official copies of Monash University's Annual Reports bearing the Chancellor's signature and stamp of the Governor-in-Council for 1958-86 and 1990-91. A second set of reports recorded here were forwarded as archival copies by Publications Branch. Booklets vary in size from 140x215mm (1961-73); 152x240mm (1974-77); 175x248mm (1978-86); and 210x300mm (1987-99). In 1991 the university's financial statement was issued separately as the Annual Accounts. Reports for 1992-95 include lists of graduands for the year.
