The department continued after amalgamation between CIOT and Monash as part of the Caulfield Faculty of Business (1990) and subsequently as part of the amalgamated Faculty of Business and Economics (1993), but disappeared after a restructuring of the faculty at the end of 1996. This series consists of a collection of files created within the Office of the School of Banking and Finance between 1988 and 1996. Heads of the Department during this period whose correspondence is included were Hasan Erdonmez, 1985-87; Denise Wheller, 1988-90; John Hicks, 1991; Michael Skully, 1992-95; and Greg Tucker, 1996. Files are related chiefly to courses within the department and include papers of staff and other departmental meetings. Papers are held loosely in coloured manila folders.
