The Council is made up of representatives of the affiliated clubs and societies and an elected executive of the Council allocates finance to the various clubs with money assigned to it from student union fees. Office space was made available within the Union and staff appointed to assist with administration of clubs and societies, help coordinate activities, and make facilities and equipment available for use.
