Appeals were not heard for out-of-time reclassification proposals. Prior to 1983 there was no formal mechanism for appeal although the Clerical Staff Committee was able to review its decisions on request. The Appeals Committee met as required as was made up of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Comptroller and the nominated Dean.
