Entity titleGippsland Campus Managers ForumEntity identifier250Entity typeAgencyDate range2010 - 2013DescriptionThe Managers' Action Group was formed in January 1993, along with the Campus Operations Group and the Gippsland Campus Forum, for consultation and exchange of information related to integration of the campus into the university structure. The group met fortnightly and membership included the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Director of Administration, Heads of Schools, Head of Distance Education Centre, Business Manager and Facilities Manager. The Manager of Community Relations became a member of the group in October 1993. The Groups terms of reference defined in 2002 were - To meet regularly as a forum to consider matters of significance as they relate to the academic and administrative units on the Gippsland Campus and to provide advice to the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Gippsland accordingly; and in 2008 - 'to be a communication and information sharing forum to consider matters of significance as they relate to teaching and learning matters on the Gippsland campus, with particular reference to the following:
- new academic initiatives;
- changes to campus operations where such changes have the potential to impact on
programs, the student experience or campus life;
- new campus initiatives / opportunities;
- Campus planning;
- Human Resource matters including the implications of new procedures/policies
- student and staff experience;
- GREEN Initiatives.
