Thorne as its Head. The School continued as part of the University College and was amalgamated with the Syme Faculty of Business in 1992, part of the David Syme Faculty of Business. In 1993 it became part of the new Faculty of Business and Economics, and was renamed again in 1994 (Council 7/94). It was renamed the School of Business and Electronic Commerce in 1995 (Council 6/95) and after a faculty restructure (1999) was renamed again, as the School of Business and Economics. Gippsland Campus became part of Federation University in 2014
