Now under the Directorship of Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Merran Evans, the University Planning and Research unit facilitates the strategic and operational planning processes of the university.
In 2008 the Office of Planning and Quality was established, combining Planning & Statistics and CHEQ. The office was spit into four units in 2010: University Planning, University Statistics, Education Policy and Programs; Monash Quality Unit.
