External accounting and reporting services including the University's Annual Report and reports to external granting bodies are provided. The division also processes supplier invoices and claim forms and provides financing and investing services.
The former Accounts Branch was controlled by the Registrar's Department until 1965 when it was renamed Finance Division and became part of the Comptroller's Office. In 1994 the name was changed to Financial Services Division which was administered by the General Manager. In 2000 the service became the Corporate Finance Division in the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (Resources). Since 2005 the Corporate Finance Division is managed by the Vice President (Finance).
