Series identifierMON5Series titleProfessorial Board MinutesSeries descriptionSigned minutes and attachments of all meetings held between 1960 and 1990. The physical format of the series has changed over the years. The volumes are bound with green covers, leather spines and corners, and a red leather title strip on the spine and a black strip for volume details. The volumes vary in thickness with the first volume containing two years' minutes, the minutes for 1962 - 1965 in a volume for each year, and thereafter there are two or three volumes per year. From 1983 onwards the minutes are bound in 'self-grip' binders. An index for each year is usually at the beginning of the first volume for each year. In the first two and a half volumes the papers consist of duplicated pages glued on to backing sheets and then bound. The acid in the glue and paper have reacted and the pages are now discoloured and becoming detached from the backing sheets. From mid 1963 to 1980, the papers consist of a printed ledger copy produced on ochre coloured paper. From 1981 to 1990 the ledger copy has been produced on white archives text paper. The series includes microfilm copy of papers for 1960-68 and microfiche copies of papers for 1960-1983.
