The collection includes course files, which may include subject outlines, reading guides, lecture notes and copies of references; files related to supervision of higher degree students; examiners reports on theses; correspondence with interstate and overseas colleagues; copies of references given for students and colleagues; reviews of publications; correspondence and papers related to the Historical Schools Society of Victoria of which Professor Selleck was Chairman; and large collections of research papers related to biographies of James Kay-Shuttleworth, Frank Tate, Mary Stark and others. Research materials include original documents, photocopies, photographs, and microfilm.
