The committee reported to the Premier in July 1977.

This series consists of the report of the committee together with supporting documentation collected by the chairperson Dr Shirley Sampson. Documentation includes reports of the Committee on the Status of Women (1975-76); Victorian Teachers Union conference proceedings (1973-74); and reports by Joan Ansell a primary teacher with the Victorian Education Department and Murray Homes of the Victorian Teachers Union, on the status of women primary school teachers.
