One of the committee's first tasks was to organise celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Centre and the inauguration of the organ. The sub-committee appears not to have met again after the departure of its Chairman, Prof. M. J. P. Canny during 1984.
This series includes the signed master set of minutes of the committee from its first meeting in May 1978 to its final meeting in 1983; along with agenda, draft minutes and correspondence for 1977-1980.
