Daily News was first issued in April 1964 and MonAds in 1967, the two occasionally appearing on the same sheet in that year. Both newssheets were produced on coloured foolscap, and since 1977 on coloured A4. The two sheets have been interfiled to form a single series. Sheets for 1965-68 have been bound into two volumes the remainder of the series is held loosely in manila folders. Daily News was produced during the academic term to inform students of activities taking place within the Union, while Mon-Ads provided a forum for students to buy, sell or exchange goods and services.
