Award of these colours was made by the Sports Council on the recommendation of the Blues Committee. Each enrolled club appointed its own Blues Committee. The Blues Committee was made up of the President of the Association and six club Blues representatives appointed by the Sports Council. The committee met in June each year to consider recommendations for the award of colours to summer sporting club members, and in October to consider recommendations on winter sporting clubs.
This series consists of the Secretary's file of agenda and minutes of meetings of the committee held between October 1963 and October 1986.
