This series was begun in 1978 and supersedes an earlier alphanumeric series most of which was converted to the new system. Files with 70-81 prefixes were examined and culled before transfer to the archives. The series was controlled by a keyword database, the data from which has now been transferred to MURSA. While the series was active larger lever-arch files and many sub-series of committee minutes were housed separately from the main sequence of files. Many original committee minute books which were later incorporated into this series have been documented as part of the relevant committee minutes series.
