Series identifierMON615Series titleAcademic Promotions Committee papersSeries descriptionThe role of the MUCG Academic Promotions Committee was to consider applications for promotion to senior tutor, lecturer or senior lecturer and to determine by a two thirds majority whether a candidate should be recommended for promotion. The recommendation for promotion was then forwarded by the CEO to Academic Board for endorsement before transmittal to Council for ratification. In 1992 as a result of merger agreements and award restructuring the committee also carried out a review of continuing/non-continuing academic appointments.
This series consists of the Personnel Manager's committee papers for 1991-92 including applications, copies of correspondence, and reports of meetings.
