Series identifierMON753Series titleLegal and Legislative Provisions Working Party agenda and minutesSeries descriptionOne of six working parties set up by the MIC, the Legal and Legislative Provisions Working Party was Chaired by Professor Louis Waller and was to make recommendations about the University's legislative framework and to suggest changes to accommodate the enlarged, multi-campus institution, with particular reference to the constitution of the Professorial Board, the need for any variations or additions to the existing decision-making processes, and consequential amendments to the University's Act, Statutes and Regulations. The working party met for the first time on 5 October 1989 and finally on 11 May 1990.
This series consists of the Secretary's copies of agenda and minutes of meetings of the working party between October 1989 and May 1990. The series includes draft minutes approved by the Chairman, Professor Louis Waller, and the working party's report to the Merger Implementation Committee.
