The committee was to oversee development of the new Bachelor of Engineering degree and of consulting work, and to upgrade staff involvement in the school's decision making process. Since the incorporation of the School into the larger Monash Faculty of Engineering in 1990, the committee appears to have dealt only with routine administrative matters relating to day to day running of the school, eg. scholarship administration, timetabling and assessment guidelines. This series consists of agenda, minutes, and papers of EMC meetings held between 1984 and 1996.
