Volumes vary in size with the first 11 volumes measure 340 x 230mm; those since 1978 measure 319 x 230mm. Papers for 1995-1997 are held loosely in manila folders. Included with the series are copies of a chronological index to minutes of Union Board meetings held between 1961 and 1990, compiled by Isa Di Trocchio, Secretary to the Union Board.

In the absence of post-1994 official minutes, Union Board unsigned minutes, agenda and working papers for 1995-1997 and two 1999 Unicomm Board meetings were added in 2004. The Union Board became the Unicomm Board in 1997.
