Learning and Teaching Committee

Established as a sub-committee of the Education Committee in 2006 (ref AB4/06) to deal with learning, teaching and associated quality issues, the subcommittee included members of, subsumed the role of, CADeT. The Transnational Quality Assurance and Improvement Committee and the Educational Technology Committee both reported through LTQ (EC 3/06). [TQAIC and its predecessor committees were previously committees of Academic Board - EC 3/06] The committee's name was changed after a review of Education Committee in 2009. Its terms of reference were amended to - contribute to the development, implementation and review of the Monash Passport, enhance learning and teaching, monitor and advise EC on the learning and teaching environment and developments in educational technology; analyse student evaluations and surveys etc. Terms of reference and membership details can be found at https://www.monash.edu/execserv/committees/other-committees/ltc
