Series identifierMON429Series titleSchool Board agenda and minutesSeries descriptionThe Secretary's copies of agenda and minutes of papers of the Board of the Gippsland School of Art, from its inaugural meeting as the GIAE Board of Studies Visual Arts in May 1975. In 1990 the board was superseded by the MUCG Visual Arts School Board which became a sub-committee of the newly created Academic Board. The board considered and made recommendations on academic offerings; admissions and continuations; course regulations, credits and exemptions; assessment; academic awards; and other student matters. After full amalgamation in 1993 the MUCG School of Visual Arts became the Gippsland School of Art, part of the Sub-faculty of Art and Design, and its School Board renamed accordingly. In 1996 the Subfaculty became the Monash College of Art and Design.
Papers are arranged by meeting number and are held loosely in manila folders.
