The committees were to advise the relevant boards of studies on occupational aspects of both current and proposed courses, and to approve course accreditation documents.

The Course Advisory Committee in Counselling Psychology first met in May 1985. The committee was required to meet only annually. This series consists of the Secretary's copies of agenda and minutes (signed) for meetings of the committee from meeting 86/1, held in September 1986, to 89/1, held in November 1990. Papers are printed on white A4 and are held loosely in manila folders.
