Its functions were newly defined as: the communication to management of the policies and decisions of Council, and to act as a forum for the receipt and critical discussion of reports provided by heads of schools and divisions on the operations of sections under their control. The committee was made up of the Director, Deputy Principal, Deans, heads of schools, heads of divisions, Business Manager and the Assistant to the Director. After a review of the committee's operations in 1981, it was discontinued in May 1982
