Professor David Smyth was appointed to the department in 1974 and taught the third year units from then until his retirement in 2010. Professor Smyth also taught second year Genetics, following its introduction in 1988, and from 2000-2010 taught the Genetics component of BIO1011.
This series provides a comprehensive overview of the teaching of Genetics at Monash between 1974 and 2010. Included within the series are unit guides, lecture notes (including overheads used), laboratory manuals, and practical tests and exams papers.
