A wide range of issues were discussed including legal and industrial problems; accommodation and land use; special research centres and research funding; submissions to government inquiries; items for Council; membership of university committees; the introduction of flexitime; and student numbers. The minutes provide a guide to the significant administrative issues on a weekly basis. They were distributed to senior administrative offices. Items 48, 70 and 154-160 in the series are the master set of Vice-Chancellor's copies.
