The collection includes common seals, seal presses, stamps, stopwatch, products of the school, school cap and tie sampler, plaque, panels used in history exhibition. Ephemera includes letterheads, brochures, items of early correspondence. Included with the series is a box of working papers of CIT Archivist Mr M. Marchant, appointed to oversee work towards a CIT history. Acc. 2005/34 includes material donated by Sarah Wolf, History Project Manager, IT Faculty; while Acc. 2007/34 consists of material donated by Lindsay Crawford, chemistry student at Caulfield Institute of Technology in the 1960s. Acc. 2021/23 & Acc. 2023/14 were donated by Pete Steedman as they were developed by him while he was Head of Promotions and Information.
