MON936: Gryphon

An incomplete series of the CIT student magazine, covering the years 1948-50, and 1958-69. Originally produced by Caulfield Technical School Magazine Committee (which later became part of the SRC, est. 1949), the publication aimed at recording activities of both junior and senior schools. The 1963 issue was the first which was completely senior school in content, a separate Gryphon Two being published for the junior school. The magazine includes information on staff (lists), students, awards (lists), social events, and has sections on each faculty. The 1968/69 issue which is slightly larger than previous issues (215x278mm) describes itself as "largely an orientation magazine".
